As Mayor of Armidale Dumaresq Council, I am very pleased to welcome you to the first edition of the Armidale Facts & Figures, a single and comprehensive document with all the information a person could want when considering the decision to relocate to Armidale or as an economic monitoring tool for business.
The Armidale Facts & Figures provides you with information on Armidale's general demographics, population, climate, business, employment, labour force statistics, industry information, development, real estate, education, tourism and general lifestyle.
This first edition of the Armidale Facts & Figures coincides with the launch of "The Armidale Life" marketing prospectus and this website. These three marketing tools are being employed by Armidale Dumaresq Council and the broader community to showcase our city and to provide economic information to business.
These tools represent a more holistic approach to promoting Armidale and highlight the definable differences that make Armidale unique. Council intends to release the Armidale Facts & Figures document on a regular basis to ensure that the latest information is available to residents and business.
